48-HOUR EXCLUSIVE USE
At Chalk, we offer 48-hour exclusive use as standard for your wedding day. This means that, unlike other wedding venues, you can access the venue the day before your wedding and use the time to your advantage. Bring in your family to decorate and prep, have a rehearsal dinner, meet with suppliers and ensure everything you have carefully planned in advance is all set for your big day.
As everything is completed the day before you’ll have the morning of your wedding to relax and enjoy, without any time pressure or additional stress. The Chalk Team, ever-present, will be there to assist in any way and help coordinate your suppliers ensuring that every last detail is just as you envisioned it – and if you want any recommendations, take a look at our list of partners who already know the venue inside and out.
PRIVATE FOOD TASTING
Your wedding breakfast is one of the most special meals you will ever enjoy, surrounded by your friends and family. Making sure your meal is perfect for you as a couple is of huge importance to us, here at Chalk Barn. While other venues opt for group tastings, we like to do things a little differently. That’s why you will be invited to a private food tasting ahead of your wedding day, so we can work with you closely on those finer details of your wedding breakfast. ACCOMMODATION
We have a variety of accommodation options at Chalk Barn. We offer the beautiful ‘‘Hide’, which is located within a 3-minute drive from the venue. You will be privately chauffeured by our General Manager, Lincoln, following your special day.
Also nearby, we have ‘Brambledown’, a spacious eco-cottage accommodating up to 10 guests. In addition we have 2 beautifully- fitted out traditional shepherd huts privately situated within the Estate grounds. We can also offer glamping options during the summer months in fields adjacent to the Barn.
