Brambledown Cottage
Situated a mere stone’s throw away in the village of Rushall, Brambledown Cottage is our beautiful, detached, open plan accommodation for your wedding day guests. With 5 double bedrooms, it’s suitable for up to 10 guests to reside for one or two nights, so they can truly soak up the wedding experience with you.
Allow your guests to socialise and reminisce about your wedding day memories until their heart’s content with the airy, open plan living, kitchen and dining space, extending the magic of your wedding day way beyond the primary venue.
On-Site Glamping – Coming Summer 2024
Perfect for those summer nights – from June 2024 your guests will be able to retreat back to luxury glamping accommodation under the stars in the heart of the rolling hills behind our Wiltshire wedding venue.
Leave the traditional tent nature to the back of your mind and think of a spacious experience with comfortable ‘proper’ beds and quality linens, running electric including lighting, Indian hand-woven rugs and of course, the peaceful sounds of nature that we all know and love to end a day full of celebrations. There are also on-site showers and toilets.
Worried the glamping tents will spoil the view? Let us reassure you, we’d never do anything to take away from our unrivalled scenery! Our glamping tents are safely tucked away at the back of the venue and won’t be seen in your wedding photography.
Shepherds Huts – Coming Soon
In the coming months, 4 of your closest guests will be able to journey back to two on-site enchanting and luxurious shepherd’s huts, each offering a unique blend of rustic charm and modern comfort.
Allow your guests to soak up every element of your day before retreating back to a cosy sanctuary, complete with a plush bed, a snug seating area bathed in natural light, while surrounded by the soothing sounds of wildlife.
Local Partners
Last, but certainly not least, here at Chalk Barn we work closely with hand-selected local partners to offer your guests convenient and comfy accommodation to suit their needs, extending their wedding visit beyond your wedding day.
One of which is The Dog and Gun, a beautifully renovated pub ready to welcome your wedding guests, oozing with 17th century history. Guests can occupy five stunning en-suite rooms with historical charm, as well as indulge in a full breakfast the following morning to complete their stay, allowing them to return home with nothing but fond memories (and a full belly)!
