Our Location
CHALK is located near Rushall in central Wiltshire, surrounded by organic farmland and unbeatable views. With Devizes to the West, Marlborough to the North, and Amesbury to the South, we are in a beautifully secluded position yet still easily accessible from London, and a gateway to the South West. We have parking for up to 100 cars and we can also accept arrival via helicopter by prior arrangement.

Wild Pizza Co. make Neapolitan style wood-fired pizza. We cold proof our dough for a minimum of 72 hours, which produces amazing flavour. We serve either buffet style or individually depending on your preference. Everything is made from scratch and all our ingredients are the highest quality, sourced both locally and from Italy.

The Hide
A SECLUDED PARADISE OVERLOOKING THE LAKE The Hide is our romantic newlywed lodge overlooking the lake - the perfect place to spend your wedding night. A cute porch provides you with opportunity to wake up and have your morning coffee with stunning views, surrounded by the trees and the peaceful, tranquil sounds of country life. Furnished with a king-size bed, a free-standing copper bathtub and a cosy wood burner. You'll also enjoy your continental breakfast by the fire, or if the weather allows, out on the lawn on our picnic bench. The Hide is the ultimate luxury escape for the newly married couple.
Brambledown
A "HOME AWAY FROM HOME" FOR YOUR GUESTS Brambledown is our exclusive detached eco-property situated in the village of Rushall. A 'stones' throw' away from Chalk Barn, this beautiful airy self-catering cottage offers an open plan kitchen, living and dining space for the night before and/or after your wedding. It is the ideal location for a large family/friends group. Suitable for up to 10 guests, Brambledown consists of 5 double bedrooms (two en-suite on the first floor, one en-suite on the ground floor and two ground floor rooms with a shared bathroom). Brambledown is available for one or two nights and longer stays are available by agreement.
The Dog and Gun
A recently restored 17th century Coaching Inn, The Dog and Gun is a beautifully renovated pub ready to welcome your wedding guests. With five high-quality en-suite letting rooms, contemporarily decorated whilst maintaining the historical charm, your guests will feel cosy and comfortable staying at The Dog and Gun after celebrating with you on your day. A full breakfast is included with varied menus to suit everyone.
Cocklebury Farm
COUNTRYSIDE RETREATS FOR TWO Cocklebury Farm offers luxurious, authentic accommodation in the heart of the Pewsey Vale. Consisting of three stable conversions and two luxury shephard huts, Cocklebury Farm is a gorgeous countryside retreat to offer your guests. Every stay at Cocklebury includes a welcome hamper containing local produce from the surrounding bakeries and farms. Your dogs are also welcome at Cocklebury and will equally be treated with some luxury items, such as a soft throw for the sofa and some yummy treats.

A NIGHT UNDER THE STARS Our spacious, carpeted canvas tents offer comfort from home, furnished with proper beds, comfortable bedding, deck chairs and ambient lighting, creating a cosy and stylish retreat. Guests also have access to our rustic outdoor showers and toilets, ensuring a comfortable glamping experience. We create and manage beautiful, unique, and memorable events for all our guests.
Chalk was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first visited we fell in love with the place. It feels intimate and cosy and the team are wonderful. They really went out of their way to make everything flow and work in line with what we wanted. It was fantastic to be able to set up the day before - it made it feel like the venue was truly ours. We booked chalk barn back in April 2023 and from the very beginning, Tracy and Lincoln were just amazing! The planning process was a breeze and they made everything so much more calmer! We held our wedding reception here at the start of April and could not have had a better experience. From start to end, the staff including Lincoln and Tracy were absolutely brilliant - ensuring we'd planned everything, times were right, food etc was sorted. The location is stunning and even with a bit of a rainy start, remained gorgeous the entire night. Everyone had an absolute blast from the seamless welcome of guests by the staff to great drinks and special shoutout to their chef who provided a bespoke menu that was better than we could have imagined.
