It’s Christmas!
The breathtaking views from Casterley Barn are sparkling with frost and we are looking forward to a few mince pies in front of the fire. The holiday season is prime proposal time so we are anticipating a lot of weddings will need to be planned in the New Year. The team is attending a number of wedding fairs early next year and Rachel will be hosting such an event at Casterley in April. This week, she and Chris have been brainstorming a new content strategy to really showcase how the barn’s incredible surroundings can help create an unforgettable big day, and we’ve been trying out potential new catering partners to build up our list of expert suppliers across a range of tastes.
But we’re also focused on Casterley’s great potential for corporate events. Teambuilding out-of-office days have been a great addition to our offerings, and the large interior space against the backdrop of the beautiful rolling countryside will make an ideal location for the presentation of new products. We can even get a car in there!
With Joe’s country pursuits events proving a great success at Casterley over the winter and the showings still coming strong there is no slowing down for us just yet. Rachel has also been meeting potential partners for our self-care retreats and exploring the introduction of a signature cocktail for the bar! We’ll take a hot mulled wine for now…
