Christmas time is here! The breathtaking views from Chalk Barn are sparkling with frost, and we’re looking forward to a few mince pies in front of the log fire.
At Chalk, holiday season is prime proposal time, so we are anticipating a lot of weddings that will need to be planned in the New Year! Our team is attending a number of wedding fairs in the early months next year, and Rachel will be hosting a similar event at Chalk in April.
This week, she and Chris have been brainstorming a new strategy that will really showcase how the barn’s incredible surroundings can help create an unforgettable big day, and we’ve been trying out potential new catering partners to build up our list of expert suppliers across a range of tastes.
But we’re also focused on Chalk’s great potential for corporate events. Team-building out-of-office days have been a great addition to our offerings, and the large interior space against the backdrop of the beautiful rolling countryside will make an ideal location for the presentation of new products. We can even get a car in there!
With Joe’s country pursuits events proving a great success at Chalk over the winter and the showings still coming strong there is no slowing down for us just yet. Rachel has also been meeting potential partners for our self-care retreats and exploring the introduction of a signature cocktail for the bar! We’ll take a hot mulled wine for now…
