Our newlywed haven
At Chalk Barn, we offer our newlyweds a secluded, off-site luxury lodge as an addition to their wedding with us. Surrounded by woodland and overlooking an idyllic lake, this romantic cabin known as ‘The Hide’ is the perfect place to rest your head after dancing the night away with your loved ones.
Furnished with a king-sized bed, a free-standing copper bathtub and a cosy wood burner, you’ll wake up the morning after your wedding to the sound of the birds and the smell of your morning coffee. If you have booked a summer wedding, you can relax out on the porch and breathe in the fresh air under the trees. If you book an autumn or winter wedding, enjoy your continental breakfast under a blanket by the log burner instead.
A home away from home
If you’d like to offer your friends and family a luxury, exclusive ‘home away from home’ for your wedding celebrations, our Wiltshire wedding accommodation Brambledown Cottage is the perfect choice.
An eco-friendly, detached property just a ‘stones throw’ away from Chalk Barn, Brambledown is a social and spacious cottage for your nearest and dearest to relax and unwind. Use the property as your base for your stay; for getting ready, for the ‘first look’, for your post-wedding breakfast to soothe your sore heads!
Brambledown is suitable for up to 10 guests and consists of 5 double bedrooms. It’s available for one or two nights. Longer stays are available on request.
Happy glampers
For outdoor and festival loving couples, Chalk Barn’s on-site wedding accommodation will be just the ticket. Tucked away on the Rushall Organics Estate are two luxurious shepherd huts, waiting to welcome you on your wedding night.
For family and friends, we invite you to take over the wildflower meadows bordering the barn. We have up to 10 canvas glamping tents, allowing you to create your own festival village! Together, you’ll make memories to last a lifetime as you stargaze from the meadows after your last dance.
Keep in mind that the glamping tents are only available between April – October in milder weather – we don’t want the weather to put a damper on your big day!
Lord of the manor
Fancy staying somewhere with the same convenience as spending the night at Chalk, but without the alfresco style?
Check into Rushall Manor B&B, just a stone’s throw from our barn wedding venue. At the end of a private driveway, this bed and breakfast has an intimate and elegant feel.
The vistas beyond onto Salisbury plain are exceptional – the perfect match to your wedding celebrations with views over the Vale of Pewsey.
Be their guest
There is no shortage of stunning guest houses in the surrounding area of Chalk Barn, making them a popular choice of accommodation for your Wiltshire wedding. We’re big fans of both Troutbeck Guest House and the West Wing at Everleigh Manor.
Make your stay at Troutbeck seriously special by booking the Chamberlain room. Spacious and sumptuously furnished, you’ll enjoy romantic river views from your own walk-out deck. The perfect spot for morning coffee for two.
Spend the night in Everleigh Manor’s West Wing, on the other hand, and you’ll enjoy a taste of classic Georgian elegance in a historic house once frequented by kings!
